Our third book features several harder Class 4 routes in the areas of Cooke City, Emigrant, McAllister, Sheridan and Twin Bridges. The Cooke City area has one harder 4x4 trail, Goose Lake, while the others have much history and spectacular scenery. The Emigrant trails have a long history of mining and exploration. McAllister is a must explore region with multiple honest Class 4 trails. Sheridan and Twin Bridges also have several Class 4 trails, which lead to scenic lakes and historic mining ruins.

While we have driven all the routes by ourselves, we highly recommend having a second vehicle with you. They have a laminated cover and are printed on heavy paper with waterproof ink, with large margins so you can add your own notes to the pages.
